Auto Redemption Terminal (ART)

When an eligible container is deposited into the ART, the machine uses its AI vision-based system to identify and classify the eligible container and sort it for recycling.

ARTs accept all kinds of eligible containers in line with the local scheme regulations. It identifies, counts, and mechanically separates aluminium, glass (green, clear, and amber), clear PETE, HDPE, LPB, coloured PETE, steel and other materials.

No Barcode Reading

Meaning crushed containers and containers with no label are recognised through our AI vision-based system. A single user is capable of returning +100 containers per minute.

Audit capability

Remote monitoring allows measuring performance and observing public and staff behaviour if needed, under a strictly private program.

Supervision required

Depot staff should be available to ensure only eligible containers will be placed onto the conveyor. RFID technology allows seamless identification of depot staff and ensures secure operations

High-speed functioning

Single user capable of returning 120 containers per minute

Automatically integrated with state- specific schemes

Real-time data captured and synchronised with the state-specific scheme.

Count and classification of eligible containers

An average of 7,200 containers per hour can be counted and classified with an accuracy of 98.9%.

AI Vision-based

Pristine, crushed and non-labelled containers are recognized thanks to Artificial Intelligence.

Real-time cash and data management

A ticket is printed to allow clients to redeem their refund at a Cash Redemption Terminal.

Improved customer convenience

The ergonomically designed front tub, permits staff to easily inspect containers and remove any ineligible or hazardous item. It accommodates an average of 240L of empty containers at a time.
